We do not read or consider any unsolicited creative ideas sent to us. We are focused on our internally developed projects and it is our policy, based on legal and other considerations, that nobody working at Illumination Studios Paris is to look at any external submissions.

Illumination Studios Paris doesn’t work with any service provider for the production of its films. All the departments are in-house.

When you see a position of interest on our website under the careers tab, please click on the specific position. You will see a link to our filling application.  If you don’t see an open position matching your profile, you can check the speculative application section below the job section and fill up the application form as well.

The recruitment process is the same as for a position, however we prefer internships to be longer than 2 month so that the intern can have a better understanding of the production process and tools.

If you are applying for an open position, it takes about 3 weeks to process your application. Regarding speculative applications, the duration will depend on the recruitment needs of the department concerned.

Once you’ve submitted your application form, you will receive a confirmation email. Due to the number of submissions, it can takes time to review all of them. We’re not able to contact people individually with specific feedback. We will contact you if a position match your profile.

We recommend every 6 months, unless there is a change in your contact details, a significantly updated reel or if you’re interested to apply for a different position.

Illumination Studios Paris is interested to hire from around the globe. However, the process for obtaining work visas is complicated and can take a lot of time, therefore we will be able to apply for visas on a case-by-case basis only.

There are no regulatory restrictions for citizens from the European states and Schengen countries. We recommend you get familiar about visas before applying.

Illumination Studios Paris doesn’t record the voices in Paris but they are recorded in the United States. Illumination Entertainment handles that part of the production process. Concerning French dubbing, Universal Pictures France, as the distributor, will be in charge of it.
